STAGE SCHOOL DANDERYD

British International School.

What does a typical Saturday stage school look like for students at our Danderyd campus?

Children enjoy an hour lesson in Drama, music and dance every week! that's 3 hours of learning time!

Over a 10 week term, children learn routines, scenes and music ready to perform in front of a live audience at the end of the term!

All our lessons follow the British performing arts curriculum and teaches students the fundamentals of each art.

Dance: children can expect to learn choreography from a multitude of genres and dance styles, positioning, structure, posture, working in a team and working with props amongst many other things.

Drama: students learn how to embody a character, learn fundamental positions on stage, improvisation, learning script, projection and more.

Music: children learn to follow music with instruments, sing, harmonise, timing and synthesising.

All lessons are broken up with breaks and games throughout the morning.
